Default Optics options.

Good afternoon all. As of lately, I've started upgrading the optics on all of my rifles. However, 1 of which still escapes me. I have no Idea what to throw on my AR-50. I only have around 1400 to spend so nightforce is out of the question. I don't know if the Ziess Conquest will hold up under recoil/concussion. Has anyone thrown a Sightron SIII on a fifty as of yet? Or better yet, will a Viper PST hold up? I don't need 40x power. Max I'll ever use is 25x to spot shots. When I'm shooting, the power is usually kept around 16x. Any thoughts gentlemen? Perhaps something I've overlooked?

the Super sniper line of scope hold up VERY well and the glass is clear. I have shot all there models but the 3-15 which I will have one pretty soon. this moment I have a 10XHD on a 50 and a 5x20HD on a 300RUM. both have held up really well thru 100's of shots.

if you call them ask for Skylar and tell him bigdaddy sent you. He will take care of you.

The SS scopes that he's talking about are great.

Crap, I can't believe I forgot about the SS scopes. I had been eyeing the 3-15 since they announced it.

Here's the 3-15X, mounted on a Rem. 700 build I'm working on.

I want a 3x15 so bad..... here is my 5x20 on my 300RUM. I have not had time to take the vortex bubble level off and add the NEW SS level.

Well I'll let you know how it works out. 36mil adjustment ought to give most of my rifles some serious legs. If I ever get my hands on a Noreen BN36, an ss 3-15 is definatly going to find on a home on there. For now, I'll toss one on the 50 and the 338LM.

Nice, That rifle has a 25moa near manufacturing base. It has some reach for sure.

Noreen is claiming 2000 yards. I don't know what their test altitude was, but here in my home state the most we could accuratly ring out of a 28in barrel 30-06 was 1600 yards. I believe the load was a 190gr smk on top of 63gr Rl-22. It's been awhile since I put one of those together. Velocity was 2850ft/sec out of a 28" Kreiger barrel. Moving over to a berger 190vld might net 200 more yards, but thats still not the claimed 2000 yards. Still a pretty damn cool rifle.
