hogue rubber grip with finger grooves

Engraved ejection pot cover with "dont trend on me"
UTG mod 4 extended tactical charging handle latch

Thanks for the repsonse. And from what I've seen the ones that specifically say chambered for .223 will not shot 5.56 right? Its only when they are chambered for 5.36 that they will shot both?

oh they will shoot it.. but its a higher pressure round and the throat isnt cut for it so you run into some issues. So stick to 223.

if the throat is worn (about the 4000-6000rd mark) then you can start shooting 5.56 cause its worn to 5.56 specs haha..

diff between 5.56 and 223 is about 55k psi (223) and ~60k psi (5.56)
and 5.56 throat is a couple thousanths deeper so the pressure doesnt spike near as fast as a .223

You have 3 types of ar15 barrel cuts. The 5.56, 223 and a 223 Wylde. The 5.56 is the military round and has alot higher pressures when shooting then the 223. The 223 is more of a hunting/competition round. If you have a 223 chambered ar15 you can only "safely" shoot 223 ammo. The 5.56 chambered ar15 can shoot both rounds because of the difference in the barrel. A 223 Wylde can shoot both as well. So you will need to be aware of what kind of ammo you buy if you have a 223. An Olympic arms ar15 is the lowest end of the ar15 brands. For $700 you can get a model 1 sales ar15, which is alot better quality. The ncstar optic was made for an air soft gun. It will not stand up as well with the constant recoil.

Thanks for the info, I've found another one at a local gun store that I'm going to be picking up this weekend. Or at least putting a down payment on.

model 1 isn't really that great either, I've personally dealt with one.

Olympic Arms wouldn't be my first choice at all, but they work.

Take it for $600, half the "add-on" **** isn't the greatest, take it base and enjoy it. It will make a good truck gun
