Glocks just look so cheap compared to the xds, after shooting both I'll never buy any other polymer framed gun.

No flexibility in gun manufacturer? I know you would have to shoot the departments caliber but some agencies will allow you to use other approved manufacturers. Hell the xd even comes with an active safety if you order the right one which should make it qualify for service.

I had one...broke it in less than an hour. Took it back and exchanged it for a XD.

no not really. glock 22 is nationwide accepted at all agencies, and ive never seen a cop carrying an XD, otherwise i would. ive gotten really really good with it, the hogue slip on grip helps a TON.

im sorry sir, but if you "break" a glock, you need to give up shooting and firearms all together.

The only way to break a Glock is to hit it with an XD

Thats the funniest thinb ive seen all day.
Ive got a couPle buddys in LE. One carries the G22 and the other was issued a Sigma.
Ill have to look tom but there are a few agencies that are using the XD.

Our highway patrol just changed over from the .40 to the 357 sig.
