i'm sure i can physically put one together...i dont know what parts are good or now, what works together, what looks cool, feels cheap...
my dad brought the colt home last night and i liked it because it was not cheap feeling and rattley like some other AR weapons i have held. it felt like a real gun and not all plastic.

Ha!! most of mine rattle...
The thing to do is get a lower parts kit and leave out the fire control group. get a good trigger and whatever butstock/pistol grip you want
They are silly easy to put together. installing the bolt catch is the hardest thing to do..

Stick a foam ear plug under the lug on the rear take down pin, that will soak up some slop and help with the rattle. I have the most trouble with the detent in the front take down pin. I use a set of pliers with masking tape wrapped around the jaws on the bolt catch, never hard a hard time since. I think the hardest part of the whole gun is the gas tube retention pin in the big over sized gas blocks. I kinda like those Kies Gen II adjustable gas blocks for their threaded pin hole. But I really like mid-length gas systems with rifle length tubes.
