Look at the Sage or Caly series.

If you're looking for a folder, on a budget, check out the Rat folder from Ontario. It's about the best bang for the buck folder you will find.

I carry a CRKT folder in my pocket every day at work (along with a CRKT Sting fixed-blade on my tac vest/body armor carrier) and could not be more satisfied with either of them. My EDC blade is a 5.11 I got for free when I purchased my passenger seat duty bag for work, and it's surprisingly nice. I have been carrying all three knives (plus the Leatherman on my gunbelt) for several years and am totally satisfied with their performance.

Gerber I found that out the hard way like everybody else seems to have

I liked my Smith & Wesson blades that I used to carry years ago but the screws always come loose. They would be halfway decent if all the fasteners had Loctite or something put on them.

I have had sog, kershaw, crkt and after I bought my last knife (a spyderco) I have to say I will be sticking with spyderco for awhile. Holds a good blade and easy to sharpen and gets dang sharp. I carry an endura emerson and could not be happier
