I absolutely LOVE my Sig 1911, but I would like a higher end built gun one day. Something like a Night Hawk, Ed Brown, Les Baer, or SVI. There are many great 1911's out there. Overall I love my Sig for the price.

I went with a 3" barrel for my first for ease of concealment.

Ive been carrying mine for about a week and it's actually really comfortable to carry and tucks to my side really nice for being a full size 1911. Wife says she can't tell I'm carrying at all with shirt tucked or untucked.

It's not easy for me...I tried. Even with a very good holster with different cants. But I'm 5'9" and 205 lbs. And I can't stand wearing baggy clothes. I will however be purchasing a 4" next time around. But for winter I can manage with sweaters and jackets. I love my 1911 and recommend them. This one fits me perfectly in regards to ergonomics.

U'v got a fine taste in guns my friend. Expensive, but fine taste. I can't see ever getting a Cabot myself. I can appreciate for sure, but I can think of 2 or 3 guns I can get that cost that. Like a Kimber Super Match, Gold Combat & say, a Colt Special Combat. I'm not sayin I wouldn't ever pay $3-4k for a piece, just that a lot of things can be bought for same (gunwise).

While I never heard of all the names on post 2, even by my standards but I could be happy, w/. some kind Les B, Ed Brown or Wilson, I'd have to see specifics, cause those 3 are so refined, it'd be an aesthetics buy.

Bad thing about 1911's is you can spend just as much on them as you do your truck lol
I've been going thru triggers like underwear trying to find the right one and I've found it!! Also going thru grips as well but I have a set of VZ carbonfiber grips on order that I think I will like.

Just cleaned her up after a trip to the range this evening

It never ends, I have carry holsters stacking up lol, and it has always been preached to me you cant ever have too many mags

My next venture is going to be reloading. I have been saving my brass and doing some reading on reloading, so after christmas Im going to be on the hunt for some good new years sales on reloading equipment. Maybe my range visits will not be so expensive lol
