Default AR Charging Handles

I'm thinking about throwing a VLTOR BCM Gunfighter charging handle on my AR. I don't really need it, just wanting to throw some more parts on it to make it not so "vanilla". They're only about $45 + shipping so it's not going to break the bank. Any feedback on these or any other sugesstions?

They are great. I have used them a few times. Nice upgrade.

Ive got one with the larger pad and its more aggravating than its worth. That one looks more useful but not stick in you as much if you carry it on a sling.

I've never seen the need for one, but that is me. But for the right money I guess I could try one. I just placed an order for a new lower, so maybe I will scoop one up for my upper and report back.

I don't see myself ever using a sling on mine. I bought a cheap one to use a while back and I've never even put it on.
