I love the M1 Garand. We do Vintage/Battle Rifle matchs and its amazing how them old things shoot so good when everybody mass produced them in a hurry.
Gonna have to start diggin up some videos. I did a 700yd cold bore shot using 1970 greek M2 ball on a 20" target using the 1956 Garand. All i gotta say is somebody was a smart fella when they calibrated the rear sight elevation markings.
I take it your talkin about the pre 64 model 70?
Ive been wanting to build the exact rifle Hathcock used in vietnam. I think that would be awesome.
