92 bronco full size, possible short in the system?
#1
so i have a 92 bronco 5.0 5spd that i think there is a short in the system. i'm being told that it could be the wiring harness.
i'll sit there and watch the dash and the gauges will just reset for no reason ever couple of minutes. it'll also run like a$$ when warmed up (i'm thinking it's somewhere in the ignition) and if you shut it off when it's warm you gotta let it cool down in order to start it back up(i've already replaced the ignition module)
i'm really tempted to switch it over from EFI to carb just to get away from this issue.
has anybody had an issue like this before? or does anyone have any ideas on it?
if i do switch to carb what do i need to do to make the switch?
thanks.

I don't understand what you're trying to explain here. What do you mean when you say the gauges "reset"? Can you be more specific?
