my new 4r70w just went in and at about 400 miles just did the same thing as be fore the 2-3 shift tries to shift and then the rpms shoot right up and nothing there, no gear. the only thing this tranny and the last one with this issue is the tunner touched it? so my question is is there something in the tuning process or in the computer that he messed up that caused this to happen? both trannys built from different places and people with same stall in both (2000) stall and they were put in by me and friends. any ideas would be apreiated. im going to call the tranny guy tomarrow and the tunner (which will say its my fault some how since everything that is bad or wrong is my fault to him) and say what happen and mention that (in a nice way) the only thing in common with the 2 trannys (since tunning started) is with this problem is he touched it ill let ya no what happens in the next couple of days...

 

What kind of software are they using to tune it???

Has to be either a tune or build issue.

Sounds like it broke the band.

 

it was tuned with sniper soft ware. the tuner said that all the tranny stuff is back to stock.. I had it tested someware else and I am only getting 20psi at EPC silonoid .
