Default It won't connect!

I'm trying to read a tune out of an 04 LLY Duramax and for some reason it won't connect with the PCM! It keeps telling me to check the cables and turn the ignition off and try again, but it still does nothing. I've noticed in the little PCM selection box it says 98 PCM, 99+ PCM, and Duramax LBZ. There isn't a Duramax LLY selection, could this be the problem? Any help at all is appreciated, I've got to get this figured out ASAP!

I've had to restart my labtop, Re-cycle the key, and unplug the MPVI interface will the labtop shuts down and restarts. Can you connect to the MPVI?

Mine does that sometimes too. All I do is unplug the usb cable from the flashscan box and plug it right back in and reconnect. It works everytime.
