Default wiring up new efans

I wired up my new efans today and couldn't get the fans to work correctly off of the pcm pin 42. I used two relays and a toggle switch and they work fine but won't work with the pcm. Does anyone know where the diagram for this. I've searched around for it with no luck.

Do you have access to a scanner tool to command the fans on? HPtuners or efilive would work.

Yea, I have EFI live. I'm really wanting to make sure the wiring is correct first. Pin 42 connects to 87 OR 87a? Or does it even matter?

Depends how you wired it up...

Generally the PCM side will be connected to the low side, ie, 85 or 86.

I had the pcm connected to 86 and had no luck controlling it. I have the toggle switch connected to 86 and it works fine.
(FYI, the toggle switch is connected to ign. fuse, not a ground.)

Try this.... get an LED, or some type of light. Put one side of it to the battery + and put the other side to a wire coming from that pcm pin. When you "turn the fan on" with the scanner, the light should light up. If it doesnt, then your pcm is not set correctly.

In bold bothers me. Toggle switch should be completing a ground. You probably have everything wired backwards.

anyway, here are two schematics that I created: 2-relay and 3-relay.
