Can the green tip mean the plug is to HOT and you need a step cooler plug.
I just checked mine, I'm running TR6's and my AFR at WOT is 11.9 to 12.1 on my AEM Wide Band O2 , so I'm not lean but my plugs are green also, I think we need to go a step cooler plug.

i'm running tr55's in mine. i just went out and checked mine again and they aren't green anymore you can see where they were but are not now. but they look ok now. i fattened up my wot and pe some and it ran like a raped ape when i did that. i thought i had added more fuel the other day but then i thought about it and i had lowered that range in the ve table so i bumped it back up to around 100% in those areas so it will give more fuel. and it seem to run real strong. oh and i notice that my stock kr tables are diff than the same year 5.3 tables so should i run like 01 vett ve tables or maybe a gto so that they meat the requirements of the alluminum 5.7??

I just did a search for colder plugs and at NGK the only thing I found colder than a TR6 would be an Iridium Plug (TR7IX or a TR8IX).
I running 11.5 psi boost at 11.8 to 12.1 AFR so it appears that the TR6's may not be cold enough.
anybody else running colder plugs than a TR6?
and what plugs are you running?
