Default Wideband o2 Install?

hi I was wondering if anyone could assist me in hooking up an Autometer Wideband gauge. I was wondering about the wot switch it appears that it needs a switch wired before the wot micro switch, do i need this to active the wot switch when the peak hold function is desired? And is the thing next to it on the left side a momentary switch I do not plan hat I would hold to get peak readings while not at wot. There are no plans to do much time at the strip so it seems that I would not really need these features. Another question is about the secondary engine ground, should I weld a nut on the exhaust for the ground wire near the bung since there is over 20' of piping from the engine to the exit on the turbo and the exhaust housing is coated so it's not very conductive. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Do LS1's have a WOT switch? I didn't think they had one. Sounds like you could just leave that wire unhooked if you don't care for the peak hold feature.

As for grounding on WB 02 setups, would it be a good idea to run a ground strap from the frame/body to a self tapping screw in the exhuast piping or something to help with ground offset problems with the WB kits? Doesn't seem like the exhaust piping is grounded at all on my truck anyway. Maybe I need to take another look.

Or does the sensor not need a ground itself, just the reference ground wire from the box/gauge itself.

Just reading those directions, got a question. Where should you install the WB02 on a vehicle like my 2004 Silverado. With factory exhaust.

Would it be better to install it right before the muffler, where the 2 pipes come down and meet before the muffler and merge into one. (after the catalytic converters) or before the catalytic converters (reading off one side of the engine only, but very close to the cylinder head, and very hot exhaust passing over it)?

Since you are needing the WOT don't use it-It looks like it is for data logging.
Use a exisiting sensor grond at the back of the head if possible OR tie into a sensor grond-like the OE 02 sensor.

I'm going to use the data logging output from the gauge, I know the autometer also has some sort of memory in it it, but that hookup is really confusing, I just won't understand the two other switches before the wot.

For the o2 sensor ground I was wondering it would get correct readings since my piping and turbine housing on the turbo are not very conductive and there is a lot of resistance from the tail pipe to the chassy ground
