I'm no expert but I'm doing my own tuning on a Vortech blown 5.3 Avalanche.

I have had HPT on mine for a while on my 5.3, you pretty much learn more as you go and mess with things yourself. What helped me with the basics is go to hptuners.com and go to the newbies threads and getting started threads and you'll learn where to start.

alright guys...Guess I'll just get it...then grab a tune out of the bin on there site and go from there....

I ahve been doing the newbie read up..but still very confused.

theres a lot to soak in...if you already havent check out the stickies over on ls1tech, they can get you started. Just take your time & what you don't find in the stickies there or on the hptuners site just ask and we'll make sure you get the right answer

I use it. I am not sure how good I am but I plan on posting my tune up on the Hptuner site to ask for help and see if I done it right.

OR maybe if someone on here wants to help me out?

Post it up or e-mail it to me at calliedusty@sbcglobal.net I'm not the best tuner in the world, but I'm working on it. lol I'm sure dewmanshu will be willing to help out too.
