Default Who Here is using HP Tuners??

title says it..who heres repping HP Tuners software for there 5.3L 99+?????
Im getting one and want to know whos using them?
heres a pic of my truck in contruction..lots of work in progress.
Its a 5.3..headers, downs, xpiupe, cats, flowmaster, aem brute force, throttle body spacer. Next year Im gonna run a STS rear mount....but want to tune it up this year and figure the progrma out..so when it comes time I can make my own STS tune.

truck looks good...I've helped tune a 99 4.8 with a procharger who then switched to a 6.0 with the same procharger...head unit went & he's now going NA for a while. HPTuners FTW!

Nice truck! HPT owner here... '86 C10 & '02 Yukon. ETs are 14s & 15s respectively... for now.

K so from anewbie to tuning posistion..how hard is iit to learn the HP software???? and does anyone ahve a standard on a good tune to start with??? Thanks

Not hard to learn it. 12-pak Tuning crew has a pretty good handle on tuning w/ HPT (even the name founder). I'm not pro, but I'm learning more & more the more I read. Check out HPT's website, and surf through their forums. You'll learn a good bit by looking through the the "getting started" threads, and more.

I am using it, not on a 5.3 but... HPT is great you just have to learn to use it, when you first get it it can be a bit mid boggling however you will catch on fast. Read HP forums and read some more. Make very small changes as you are learning and if you have a question just do a search on there site, if nothing is found ask. All the HPT guys are very helpfull and reply fast to your emails.

I use it.. have tuned a few vehices.. still learning every day.. now if i can just figure out a way to get the GTO i want

Hp tuners has a bin repository where tuners upload there tunes for others. Theres a great variety there
