Default When should I tune??

Mostly stock 05 Z71, When should I tune? Right away, on a stock truck? Or wait a few months until I have my cold air, headers, T-stat, etc..? Witch or any of these mods will need to be done b4 a tune. I was assuming the T-Stat? Also, 160 or 180 T stat....whats the way to go? Thanks for the help guys.

You can start tuning now if you want, it will only help if you do it right. But you will probably have to do some more tuning once you make any of those changes. You could actually leave the tune how it is after modding, but to get the maximum gain from them you really should adjust the tune for any mods.

Is a 160 T Stat necessarilly better than a 180? Without a tune, will either T-Stat cause trouble?
