What did you get from your tune?

How much HP/TQ did you gain from your tune?
What are the capabilities of a tune on a stock vehicle? 07+
I know that number will go up with each modification, I'm just curious for info on a stock truck.
Thanks

Depends on what you mean, peak to peak, changes are relatively small, however if you compare out closer to the fuel cutoff area, the changes are larger. Here is a comparison I took of my truck when I had the intake only. Both run on 93 octane, both run within a half hour of each other with the truck never unstrapped from the dyno. Simply ran one ECM, swapped to the stock ECM and ran again.
See the attached file.

I cant give any #s. But like stated above. The seat of the pants feel is better. You will get better mpg. If u can stay off the skinny pedal. All around better drivability. Alot firmer shifts the tune is on of the best things ive done to my truck. I had a hand held first I wish I hadnt wasted the $ the other best was 4.11 gears

Are there a difference between a dyno tune compared to a regular tune or however you'd call it?
I was quoted similar to what gamble had said, a little more at around 35hp. I got barely 10hp out of a road and dyno tune. Just about two + hours and that's it. It was very similar to what vettelovr did, never unstrapped and had about 20 minutes cool down time.
Thanks for the graph vettelovr. I'll be back with a picture of mine.
Maybe I just expected more out of it.
EDIT Here's my graph

Dyno tunes cost more.. I could see getting a dyno tune if u had some real mods done. But boltons u would come out cheaper with a good tuner. Not sure were u live but I have a good tuner in my area in texas. He is north of ft worth

I was not too fond of getting a tune. The first shop I went to screwed me and lost my factory tune file. The second shop decided to basically remove everything and call it a tune. At this point I'd like it back to its factory tune and start over. I found some, actually he's a member here. That I'd like to meet up with.
I'm in NC, that would be quite the commute, haha.

Yes, it really does suck.
It also sucks that they are one of the more popular shops around.
Once I figure out what they did, I'll figure out how I'll handle there poor services.
