You have to have HPT and a customer account to gain access to there repository now.

James, I know what you are talking about. Reading just doesn't get it easily. Just 20 mins with someone showing you the basic tables and how to manipulate the software is all you need to figure the rest out yourself over time.
That is if you have a good understanding of engine mechanics, effects and reactions to changes and exactly what the MAP, MAF, O2's etc. actually read.

PLus, don't just read Make one small change at a time and see if you understand what it does (if ya don't then go read -- well after you curse of course!)
This sounds like a plan. I have ^*$%#@$&* a lot let me tell you. I will read and make small changes and if I f-up, I'll just reinstall the current tune back in. I saved the current tune now JFYI.

well watch out cause the word i got from thursday night was you were about 6 trucks behind the heads and cam 5.3

That's about what I did- judt dove in. I tried reading and reading, but after a point- ya just gotta jump in and tinker. I'm still learing, like this morning I richened up the PE, oh man- the truck runs like a scalded cat now..........
