Because some people work 6 and 7 days a week! Why should he have to waste his time and gas to make a 200 mile trip. Correct me if Iam wrong , but isn't the point of a mail order tune for the conveniece. By your rational if I were to have a problem with the W4M tune I should drive to Indiana to take care of it. Nowhere did I really complain, I simply stated a problem a freind had, and it concerned me. My whole point was I am big on customer service and I have not seen it with Wheatley. At one point earlier this year I was in Houston for 5 days on business and called Wheatleys repeatedly with no answer, left a message several times and never got a call back. Now what the hell would make me want to use him over somebody I have called numerous times and talked to everytime?

Did you ever think some tuners are so busy that they need a little bit to get back to everybody that calls them. 1 person to hundreds of people calling. of course it will take a little while but they all try their best. On the other hand I would worry about the tuner that answers everytime. Apparently doesnt have much work going on if he can answer all the calls. That would tell me something. If you are within driving distance of a tuner you are much better off getting a road tune, instead of a mail order tune. I also work 6-7 days a week and I make time to go and visit my tuner whenever needed. remember paitent's is a virtue.

First off, I am going to say this one more time, so listen up, I have called th guy numerous times, leaving messages and HAVE NEVER ONCE BEEN CALLED BACK!!! So get the hell off your high horse. I simply stated a problem that does not concern anybody on here but the person it involves and Wheatley. I am sure the situation will be taken care of, but it is something that I did not want to deal with. I started this post for constructive comments in order to help me with decide on a tune. If I could have ever gotten a hold of Wheatleys I would have used him, But as stated before, I like to deal with people over the phone and not by e-mail, so it is probably better FOR ME that I didn't use him.

As far as W4M tune, think what you want about them, that is your opinion. I feel they value customer service and want to be available to answer any questions we may have. As for anybody else who has something negative to say, keep it to yourself, these forums get too clogged up by people like yourself that have nothing constructive to contribute.

^^^^Dude, you only have six posts and you come talking to us like this. You came here for help remember, in order to help you we have to give the good and the bad. I live in Louisiana and made time to visit Charlie to have the best tune possible. Wait4Me, I have heard the stories about them, they are cheap for a reason. They are hit and miss. There are better tuners out there, but being that you know everything already, get the wait4me and quit asking for help. And this is exactly what a forum is for, open discussion.

Dont ask for opinions with your mind set up. I drove around on a w4m tune for over a year with good results. NOW, that i do most of my own tuning, i dont like some of the things he did. As far as price, if your google justin @blackbear, you would probly be suprised in the competativeness. Wheatley helps a lotta people on these boards.

Im not here for a pissing match. Im simply trying to understand why you asked for everybody's opinion if nothing anyone would say even matter'ed. Charlie Wheatley, Allen Nelson, and Im sure all of the other great tuner's take their customer's very serisouly. It's not just a joke to them, it is their way of life. Yes, it may take more than a day or 2 to get ahold of them, but when you do im sure they are very apologetic that they could not get to you sooner. I know from expierence that Allen is, and as much help that Charlie is around this forum I know that he is one hell of a guy. Im not here to fight with you, or anyone else for that matter, Just trying to help whenever I can.

OK let set the records straight for the last time, it is pretty obvious you guys like Wheatley tunes. Somehow there is a misunderstanding, I was asking for assistance and help, but certain people took offense that my buddy and myself had trouble getting ahold of Wheatley. I am not trying to argue either, it never was my intention. The point was for me to find out what other custom tunes were out there, besides W4M and Wheatley. Not once did I feel that I degraded Wheatley in anyway, I simply stated a third party issue. Let it be known I am the one who sent this friend of mine to Wheatley in the first place. Once again, I am not putting the guy down, just simply was looking for some more information.

As for you Outlaw, Don't talk to people like there kids and you won't get disrespected yourself. I value the information I get off of the website and am not trying to offend or upset anyone.
