My truck starts to run bad after an auto car wash. It will drive normal under very easy throttle but any attempt to give it a little more and it loses all power. Nothing under the hood is wet but I have relocated the fuse box and ecm to behind the bumper but I don't think its either of those since neither was wet after disassembly.

Can anyone tell by the scan what is happing so I can try and locate what is getting wet and causing the issues?

Looks like it's going rich so could be anything. I'll just have to test connectors til I find it.

I wish I could help, but wow, that's messed up! What you are feeling is the spark advance going to zero, or even negative.

So I can narrow my search to the ignition system? Gives me a good starting point anyway.

I think the car wash was a coincidence. The truck has sat for 3 days now and is still doing it.

Send me a log from that last tune I sent you. I have a few ideas to try.

This ended up being a tuning issue. Thanks for helping.

Wish I could but Richard or the member that helped me yesterday will have to explain it. Basically he sent me changes to the ve tables. He referred to them as being to noise. He sent adjustments to the ve constants, ve map, ve map^2, ve map.rpm, ve rpm, and ve rpm^2. I just copied and pasted them and have zero understanding of what was going on. After 3 or 4 he got rid of the problem. Hope that helps a little. If Richard does not mind I can post the before and after files so people can see the changes.
