Using TM to launch?

How about this:
Traction Control System (TCS)
The values affect the amount of retard the VCM will use to reduce engine power due to loss of traction.
Traction Control System (TCS)
The values affect the amount of retard the VCM will use to reduce engine power due to loss of traction.
- Traction Control Spark Retard vs. RPM: Normal TCS retard (degrees)
- Traction Control Air Fuel Ratio:
- Traction Control Aggressive Spark Retard vs. RPM: Aggressive TCS retard (degrees)
- Traction Control Injector Disable: Specifies the number of injectors disabled by the TCS system for each mode (V6 only)
- Traction Control Max Torque: Specifies the torque reference for retarding ignition timing during TCS operation. The lower this is set, the earlier the VCM will retard timing during TCS. (V6 only)

I don't have a switch like on a Z06. Does it only come on AWD, 4WD or upper end vehicles like Caddy?
When I had my tune done, my tuner said there are 3 strangleholds on DBW trucks. IIRC, 1 @ TB, 1 in trans, & 1 in ?? I forgot, that was yrs ago. Said all have to be gone to do my tune. Speed limiter removed to do pulls & TQMgmt set to "full" abuse mode. Thoughts?

If you have TC you will have a botton. My 01 Yukon 4x4, 03 1500HD Quadrasteer 2wd, 05 Tahoe Z71, and my 06 Silverado SS all had it. Don't think it's a particular model that has it but rather a part of a particular package option.

That's along the lines of what I thought, I don't have that button.
So u can have TQ Mgmt & not have TCS. But if u have TCS, u automatically have TQ Mgmt.
Heck, (TQ Mgmt) is prolly on most GM cars & trucks. I've only been in a few GM cars since owning my truck. A C5 Z06, a new Malibu & tested @ GM a Cobalt SS S/C.
The new Cobalt SS T/C has a no lift shift feature; but if GM offers it for others to drive or I'll go to dealer & see if that turbo feels like +55HP. And I'll try the no lift shift too.

I don't have a button, either. I was hoping it was just a table that was zeroed out with my first tune, and would reactivate with the stock table put back in. Oh, well.
Maybe it will be like in dreams I typically have, where all of a sudden I will see a button that I never noticed before.
