hey i send my computer to tsp for a retune cuz i got a new transmission and i still dont have it back, is it possible use another trucks computer from a yunk yard just to drive to the transmission shop thats 20 miles away and have the tranny installed already... i dont have a trailer to load the truck

 

when i got my tune, the person had to flash the VIN# or sumthing to it to make it work. maybe a tuner will chime in and give u a strait answer

 

You would either have to turn off the VATS in the PCM or have the VIN changed to match yours. With the mods you have done to your truck, I wouldn't trust driving it on a stock tune
