Default Unknown timing pull?

Guys,
Looking at some logs. Commanding 17* timing in WOT regions. Scans show 15.5* actual. I can't find whats pulling the timing out. Not IAT, not TM. What else will pull timing?

TIA for any input.

Burst knock on throttle tip-in will pull timing, but you're talking about WOT, not the transition to WOT. KR, IAT, and TM are the only other things I can think of off the top of my head. Here are some threads over at EFILive...what software are you using?

Not KR, no tip in KR ever. All WOT even drops more toward end of pull. It' not IAT, my IAT table can pull it down but only at higher temps than I'm at in the scans, Not EGR, I don't have one and disabled. Found something about TCS? What the hell is that?

Using HPT. Thanks for the links I'll look around there also.

Here's an HPT thread to check as well...

You have better search skills than I do. I had already been to HPT and didn't find that thread.

does it stay locked in at 15.5* through the whole pull
if you're commanding straight 17 in your WOT cells?

No it drops another 1* toward the end sometimes. That might be the IAT's dropping it. Haven't logged it yet but the PID's from above should nail it down.

Did some logging today with the PID's in place. I actually bumped up the timing to command 20* at WOT. Nothing is pulling it down except IAT's and can see this going on in the scans.

Is Base Advance the timing to be commanded and read from the Octane advance table? Looks like it is never reading the 20* commanded? When at WOT and commanding 20* my base timing is at 18*. Strange...
