Do a compression test.

If the cam is 114lsa +0 you should have a 46 deg IVC@50. With 10.5 Cr you should have decent cranking compression, have you driven it? How does it drive and feel?

it drove ok. Was pretty gutless out of boost which leads me to believe cam timing and or valve train issues

Nice setup! Exhaust back pressure issues? Cats? Also agree on cam timing maybe. As for blown gaskets imho timing advance may have been aggressive on just 93.

Are you certain it’s HGs and not a couple broken ring lands?

From personal experience, I was right at your boost level with my PD blower and pretty close to your timing when I busted 4 ring lands.

I was running it fat to. 10.7 or so.

I’m assuming either a ton of back pressure pre turbo and or valve event issues. No cats and a wide open full 3” exhaust turbo back straight through muffs. I agree the timing might have been too aggressive at the higher boost range, but on low boost 6-7psi I think 18* is just fine. There’s just too much cylinder pressure and no power. Also this thing was extremely hot for just driving on the street normally and the turbo would not fully spool till 4K rpms WOT.

All that screams valve events are off to me. My much larger turbo spools way faster.

little update. Torched the head, for sure all the rods are bent on the drivers side. Pistons still look to be in tacked looking from the top. Working on the passenger side now. Still nothing jumping out at me as to why. Cam was lined up and everything looked good

All rods are bent. I’m assuming because of coolant getting in the cylinders. Going to have to get a new set of pistons as well. I ordered a cam degree kit to see if it’s out of wack and sending the injectors out for flow testing
