Well alot of guys tune part throttle using fuel trims first and then hook up the wideband for the WOT stuff or just hook up the wideband and do it all with it. Personally I prefer to just tune the whole thing with a wideband doing the usual disable the maf, tune ve, turn maf back on and completely tune it, etc... with the wideband.

I do know the reason alot of people prefer to tune the part throttle stuff using the fuel trim method is because they run into the problem and I see posts for it all the time where they say they did their tune in open loop and then they went back to closed loop and now their fuel trims are off by at least 5% compared to their afr error % and you may have some variance between the two but if it is done correctly it shouldnt be much more than 2% or so. I do my tunes in open loop quite often and after I get done and go back to closed loop my fuel trims are about dead nuts on with what my afr error % was so I feel it is easier to just do the whole tune in open loop but either way works fine.

With the methanol spraying it the wideband going to still read 11.2 A/F? Should it be tuned all motor/supercharger and then turn the methanol on to add timming and should fuel be removed at this point?
