I know I can change the PE mode fuel multiplier but I have no idea if its to lean or not.
Being able to make changes, doesnt mean you SHOULD mae that change. I will wait for my wideband.

I read your post incorrect, sorry about that. I thought you posted that you couldn't change your a/f ratio. I see that you meant if you can't because you aren't sure where to put it. I highly recomend using the wideband also. Calculate the p.e table to where it should be and tune the V.E to where you get the right number on the wideband.

Well, I still need to get by there for him to run it with his scanner to see what everything looks like, and probably make a few changes there. But yeah, I eventually want to get him out there with me at the track.

I use TunerCAT on an L31 Vortec running 9psi with a 2-Bar MAP sensor and 36# injectors. The factory PCM runs everything but the transmission.
I tuned this engine WITHOUT a wideband O2 unit. It's not easy to do it this way but it is possible if you have the patience to understand how the engine responds to your tuning.
Right now, from a dead stop, throttle response and power are so good I can get SMOKE from the tires just punching it. That's in a 6000-pound Tahoe with 285's on it.
...all made possible by TunerCAT.
