My truck is tuned for my 44lb injectors right now, i plan on upgrading to either 57lb or 60lb injectors soon. I asked my tuner if i could just change the injector flow rates with hptuners and he said that it would change my entire tune by doing that. Is that correct?

if he's saying that, then he tuned it with IFR, which is the wrong thing to do. if you do a proper VE tune, changing injectors causes no other changes than just making injector pulse widths smaller, as the bigger injectors dont need to spray as long to get the same amount of fuel in.
i'd just stay away from this 'tuner'

You will need to get it tuned for the new injectors. No matter how it's tuned, you will need an update to tell the computer what it's doing. Otherwise you would be extremely rich.
