I'm usually on the car site but have a truck problem and hope I can get some help here! I have a 2000 GMC vortec 4.3 W code. It ran perfectly when I parked it yesterday. I went out to run an errand today and it cranks great, but makes no attempt to start at all! Had the fuel pump replaced 5 months ago and can hear it turn on when I turn the key. Ignition fuses seem ok. It does have a "block type" ignition fuse but how the hell do you tell if they are bad? The truck ran perfect when I parked it and now it cranks great but doesn't even try to start!!! I figure it must be either fuel or ignition, but I am stumped! Any ideas?????

I forgot, do they still crank when the VATS is keeping them from starting?
