Default Trouble tuning ve?? Cammed 6.0

So I'm tuning my rcsb gmc. It has an lq4 6.0 in it with 224-112 cam, 243 heads, volant cai, 160* thermo and lt's no cats. When I try to tune the ve with my wideband, I see no change. Its constantly running 15.1-15.5 at 60mph cruise. So I add a lil more to the cruise cells of the ve table, but it doesn't really help. If I turn closed loop off with the vcm scanner tools, I can dial it in almost perfect with the eq ratio table in open loop. So why can't I dial it in with the ve table/closed loop?

Your MAF is determining your AFR. You need to adjust your MAF with your trims disabled. A lot of tuners don't even touch the VE table.

Yes, I set the maf fail frequency to 0 and took the maf off the chart in my scanner.

How is the response? If it runs well and no ping I would leave it; I can't make mine cruise above 14.3~14.4...

So set both trim enables to 284* or something, then tune the ve and maf?

What are you using to tune? EFI Live has nice tuning tutorials that walk you through it.
