Trans temp gauge install. Wiring up automatic lights

I'm installing a auto meter trans temp gauge and I want the gauge light to come on with the dash lights when the automatic lights turn on. Where in the harness do I tap into to get it to do that ?

I tapped in to the purple and brown wire(iirc) behind the light switch dimmer box.

And now your gauge lights come on automatically with the factory gauges right ?

Yes. You just won't be able to dim the Trans gauge if it's LED lights.

Shitty, How do you get it to work with the dimmer also ?
