Finally installed the motive gears(410) I had left over from my last truck today. I also installed a superchips programer it was (free) to adjust my spedo. 2005 cc 5.3L. I drove it home from the shop and it smoked alittle when I first go on it, and also it didn't seem like it wanted to downshift.
87 oct. tune, and I selected max on the 1-2 shift and 3/4 on 2-3 and normal on the last shift. my rpms at 70 with the factory gears was (1900) and now its (2500) does that sound right....I'm going back out in a bit to adjust the shift back to normal on all the shift points...and see it that helps, maybe it just needs to be driven, I dove it about 8 miles total so far.
