Default Tranns wont shift because of Sterring wheel?

Today coming home from school I gave TRD_Tundra a ride to the gym, i had water in my mouth and he made me laugh, long story short I kinda threw up on my steering wheel, vehicle is a 2005 Silverado, & now my transmission wont shift past 2nd gear
Truck lanuches off on 2nd gear
I get code : PO758 (ECM has detected an open or short circuit condition on the shift solenoid cuircuit...)
Tried manually shifting still no luck
Replaced my ignition starter still no luck
unplugged battery for a couple of minutes still no luck
Im almost %110 sure it is a electrical problem because my transmission WAS in PERFECT condition

I can't think why your column would have an effect on it. The cable is connected there, and runs down to the tranny where everything electrical that you are referring to is located.

The code indicates a problem with the shift solenoid circuit. Why did you replace the ignition switch?

No communication or no power to shift solenoids will give you 2nd gear starts and a CEL after a few self test fail back to back.
