Tow/Haul Tune??

well some tuners have a program that when u press t/H it will down shift. . . like from 2nd to 1st . .if ur planning on some rolling races .. . its great cus it will shift automatically . . @ ur set shift points . .

On a stock 60E transmission,I personally like to leave some TQ managment active,I DO believe in stock form they need it.Sure you can take it all out,BUT is it best? Not really no,unless it is Built by a builder who knows what they are doing!!

so a retune is free?? see that i didnt know.. sorry. im a newb to this stuff. then maybe i should just do a tune and call it good for a little bit.

if your tuner has efi live you can also run COS3 and set Valet mode as on on the fly race tune. Seen a guy do that on his vette when he wants to run spray.

I'm not exactly sure what Wheatley did on my tune, I had been trying to get in touch with him a few months ago about some retune ? But I can say with tow/haul active it holds gears longer under part throttle and seems to shift harder. Like I said I'm not exactly sure how he tuned it but I activate tow/haul when racing and it seems to run better??

yeah i just talked to wheatley last night and im gonna have him tune my truck! so within the next 2 weeks it'll be tuned!!

That's exactly what Tow/Haul is supposed to do. It keeps you into your power band longer so you don't bog down during shifts when towing.
He just bumped up the parameters a bit to coincide with your tune.
