Asking me? I am not sure how cross platform they are but I am sure they will work to an extent. I would try to get one the same part #, year and engine capacity as you are planning to use it in. It would be different if you could flash a complete new and up to date factory tune into it.

I guess you never know exactly what tune you are getting in a used pcm and it should probably be re-flashed to an up to date factory tune or sent to a tuner as a core.

Default Update Weds. 01/18/2006

Results are in from my Synergy Motorsports Dyno tuning.

Increase in HP=33.1
TQ=33.7
For a peak HP of 304.3
And peak Torque of 329.9 !

I dont have much to compare to, other than my mail order tune but i am happy with the results, and it seems like my bogging issue is gone also.

I will post the graphs once the wifey gets home to scan them.

Is the increase in your H.P from stock H.P or from the previous tune you had ?
How does the new tune feel compared to your old one. Need to take it to Synergy to see how much H.P & Torque my truck is putting out . What was your experience with them. Thanxs

Yes, i didn't want to name the previous Tuner because i am sure my case is unique but the 33+ gains in HP and TQ are from that tune.
I think that although there's nothing at all fancy about Rick's shop, he know's exactly what he's doing.
My truck pulls better, drives better, feels better, etc, etc.
My tranny issues are gone.
It shifts when it should and pulls great thru all the gears. It looks like he set it up to shift after peak HP and so it falls into peak torque? WOT is crazy!
I dont know much about how HP tuner works but I can tell you that it does! I highly recommend SynergyMotorsports and Rick for the job. I plan on having him do my shift kit and cam job too.
See ya!

Note that the horsepower and torque curves are on different scales. They only cross at 5250 when plotted on the same scale. BTW I know because I made the same mistake several months ago.
