I'd ask them to refund you for the custom tune and find someone else to tune it.

WOT tuning is the easiest part of tuning. Its the part throttle and low rpm WOT tuning that takes some time to dial in. Without proper tuning you can break parts. Just because its a pooch down low doesn't mean its a safe tune.

Good Luck

I don't think your problem is TM. I have 100% of my TM removed (TM tables are all zeroed out). My truck runs like a raped ape, but it is still a pig off the line. I was told that there is still a throttle position rate table (not sure of it's exact name???) that is locked and unable to be altered. So, the rate at which the throttle opens is still limited to GM's stock tuning.

Go RE-READ his FIRST post... he said he just had it DYNO TUNED with HPT and they told him they couldn't remove the TM as it would cause problems...

Get your money back and find someone else to tune it! I was shooting the **** with a local tuner who just had an 08 vet come in for some work. He said he had a hard time with the TQ management but he was able to figure it out. He uses EFI live for the most part so you might need to find a tuner that uses it.

It is not related to any throttle position tables. I know EXACTLY what you are talking about and took care of it. I need to go back over my last NA tune and see what tables to look at, can't remember offhand.

Well, there was a LOT of changes I made and I don't remember what changes did it but, I think a lot of it had to do with the burst knock table, just zero it out.

If I remember correctly it was a combination of the spark tables(go over them all), torque reduction/control(ECM) tables, torque management(TCM), and PE.

Thanks I'll show this to the tuner and see what they say. If they aren't sure they can fix the problem I'm not driving all the way to durham so the can @#$% up my tune again.

I may just try to get my money back and find someone who knows what they are doing. Maybe black bear can help me.
