Default Tip in wot timing drops..why?

Been doing some tuning on my new 6.0. I always thought the 5.3 was a dog off the line then I got this 6l and it has the same initial dog feeling going wot from a dead stop. Well I've went through my logs of the 5.3 and of the 6.0 and I'm finding that timing is dropping to 2-4* when you go wot. The cell that its going to is set for around 17*. So why is it loosing so much timing? Where can I look in hpt to correct this?

First see what's pulling the timing like mentioned.

My guess is it's a function of the engine torque management. There is a few options it uses to do this (fueling, spark and throttle). Poke around there and see if those are enabled.

All disabled. I fixed burst knock before for wot but I don't recall doing anything under 3000. I'll check it out tonight. It was late last night so I said **** it, was too tired.

I think this thing would be a monster off the line if it weren't for that dip. It's a mean upside down spike lol

I need to down load a lq4 tune so I can look at some of the timing tables. I'd also like to compare a 2500 silvy to a Denali. Same motor but the Denali is rated higher. It's got to be in the tune. I figure timing tables are lower for the 2500 due to its work ethic so to speak.

Thats the 2500 LQ4 vs the denali LQ9. 9.4cr vs 10.0cr..

but yes the LQ4 timing is quite low.

Do you use HPT or EFI Live?
