Default Thank you PT.net

Im reminded all the time why im a part of this site and i've learned so damn much and still have alot more to go.

Ever since i put the 5.3 in place of the V6 i've been working out some bugs.
Went through 2 water pumps, MAF sensor, FPR vacuum hose, cleaning the lines, random squeaks, Battery, o2's, and now the TPS.

After getting everything right and putting the o2's in to where it would actually run worth a **** the truck seemed to be ok. We'll 3 days ago i got the infamous P0121 code (TPS error). The truck had been hanging in gear and the throttle volts were at .47 idle. So i went to oreillys and bought a brand new TPS, cleared the code with the aeroforce and the volts are now at .54 idle and the light came back on today. Same stupid code. After using the ol' search button i found numerous threads stating problems with that code due to the idle being turned up in the tune for the big cam. Guess thats what i get for going big lol

Anyways, rather than going to oreillys and buying another $50 TPS i figured out its all in the tune. Im glad we have useful information on this site all at the click of the button. Thanks again guys

Good deal man...this site has saved me a few times when I had to run up from the garage to the computer to get some info to help finish the job

This seems like more of a Truck Stop thread than Tuning Section thread though I'll leave it here if it makes you warm and fuzzy inside
