Well, It may be good or may not. To save fuel, I would think you would want to have the engine and tranny spinning at a 1:1 ratio as much as possible in lower load cruise. In theory, having your overall TCC lock-ups across all gears lower (to a point) will help with MPG however if they are too low, it will bog and feel like you are pulling a trailer. Having stock min/max tables "could" aleviate some of that bog by doing a "softer" kind of a partial lock vs the zero slip commanded with a 90/100 min/max thereby allowing you to run lower TCC lock-up points. I could be talking out my *** so take it for what its worth

Are you going to see a bump of like 3MPG with this? I seriously doubt it. You will need to experiment with it to see if it actually does anything. I would love to see some pro tuners comment on this as well.

Did you try the 02 switchpoint lean from your other thread yet?

I see. So far the lock hasn't caused any serious load, my commute is pretty much flatland so all good there.
No, I don't think I want to screw with the 'switchpoint' for the sensors, if my setup was a little milder maybe but not with what I have going.

I've got a trailblazer torque converter on my 03 Avalanche. Tried locking in 3rd, but quit doing that because I thought it a bit odd when the converter unlocked just before shifting from 3rd to 4th, resulting in my rpms increasing just before decreasing with the shift. Probably wasn't hurting anything, just seemed a bit weird to me, and I figured I wasn't gaining that much. I'm currently locking somewhere between 35 and 40, if my throttle isn't open very much.

I'm seeing the converter unlocking on my 60e when lifting off the gas, at speeds below about 50 or so. Seems to stay locked at higher speeds. Seems to not matter where I set the release points.
