Worm drive clamps and THAT fuel hose in your picture are very likley to give you future troubles.

Submersible hose strongly recommended.

I didn't notice that hose, I've tried several "submersible" hoses and all failed. I have only had luck with QEM style corrugated nylon.

Those came with the pump and the sending unit and that hose is slid on the barb a solid inch and there is maybe 1/2-3/4” between the barb on the pump and the one for the supply tube. I’d be surprised if they fell off. Hose is also submersible. I checked before installing.

I use Gates 27083 hose with a SAE 30R10 standard rating and so far havent had any fail. Some are going 6 years now trouble free.

I had that hose fail after about 10 years, finally split near the fitting but may been at a stressed position and not perfectly relaxed. 10 years is pretty good if you ask me

I had the Gates hose split. It was from NAPA, in a sealed Gates bag, with Gates submersible printed on the hose. It swelled and split in a very suspicious way as if it was a Chinese fake.

Was it the high pressure gates? They have several different types of the hose

I don't know, but the important thing is that it went from being firm rubber hose to being silicone-like.
