Well... after hitting every dyno shop in the area from racer shops to expensive dyno labs... ive decided to contact Allen and told him that I have an extra pcm and i'll send it to him to tune and i'll just go with that. Idk if anyone has been following my posts in here but ive been having many problems with the wait4me tune... sent it back 3 times and still have problems... Jesse is a good guy with awesome customer service.. but ive been seeing a trend here... Guys who are very happy with the w4m tune are mostly guys that dont have a cam... guys that complain about the surging and funny shifts have a cam or more mods... so i wonder if that has something to do with it...

but anyhow... i emailed allen about everything. About how long does he take to respond bc i know hes busy... like a day or so?

i'll report back after i get the tune back, i cant wait, bc my truck has been running like crap for so long.. im just ready for it to be right and maybe get some new track times.

also... is there anything i should know extra when talking to him... like maybe something else i should get done. I'm having a little bit of the line pressure taken out, get a 87-89 dual tune, and have him tune for all the mods, etc. Idk if he does the tow/haul *** mode like w4m does?

 

From what I have read you will be happy with nelson. I plan to go with him in the near future as well. He usually responds within a day.

 

Allen is a great guy to deal with. I just sent off for my 02 pcm thats tuned for my blower today. I can't wait. He usually responds within the next day or so. good luck with your tune...

Allen is awesmoe and knows his ****. He will probably load a tuen similar to 01Thunders since he has the same cam as you and alot of the mods. He can get your truck running great and will fix you up if you ahve any problems

 

well I'll let you know how my retune from w4m goes.. I should be recieving it wed or thurs.... Jesse's customer service is a A+ for me... I have always been able to get of hold of him... I will also be going with nelson, just cause I want to get the most of it and the only way to do it is to let a tuner get on the truck and do it right... I called allen last weekto schedule an appointment but he said he was booked up for the next 2 weeks so, I send it to Jesse to get it updated for the time being since I wanted my truck to be running for the GTG on the 20th...

ya tht was going to be my next question, i was hoping that 01thunder had nelson as his tuner since our mods are so similar, i'll ask him about that too, thanks again.

 

i know youll be happy with allen. i think the best way to get ahold of him is to call though. thats been the easiest for me. i think hes got someone answering the phones for him now and he pretty much always calls back the same day. have fun with it. my truck might be gone this week.

 

Boy, with all the money you've spent on mail order tunes, you could have bought EFILive or HPT... Then if you would take half the time you speend on here and use it to learn how to tune, you would be a pro in like 2 days!!

 

Hey, thats what I plan on doing. Or just getting Allan (Nelson, or Futral) to tune it and be done.
