Default take a look at these scans

I've been working on my tune done by a friend before I had HP tuner. I adjust tire size and PE. Then log the first 4-24-17 scan. It showed some pig rich areas so I figured I would learn how to adjust ST fuel trim so I read up and adjusted them and flashed it first thing this morning.

I fired the truck after the flash for the first time this morning and sat there for a min before I backed down the driveway and started my scan.

As soon as I started down the road I saw on the scan the +9 cell and got worried but it kind of never went back to that. So I drove to work with one eye on the computer and one on the road.

Could that lean condition be because I just fired it up and went down the road and the computer hasn't adjusted to the new tune yet.

Should I used this new log to re-adjust the ST fuel trims. Or scan again and see If I get that lean condition again.

Take a Look

Buy a wideband if you want to adjust VE, plain and simple. You need good correct data to make proper changes.

I rescanned the truck at lunch and it was worse so I pulled over on the side of the road and loaded the previous tune back on the truck. It was much better I'll load the log later. My laptop died so I can't post it until I get home.

Do you think I should start over from a stock tune or keep working this one.

I've been looking at widebands but I really want to wait until I went with boost to get both gauges at once.

See if this works.

I guess I'm on the lastest version since I just bought it from you in April.

Thanks Atomic

I was able to open your tune file from Post #5 but no log, and I can open your log file from post #6. How strange.

The log I could open looks fine with fuel trims right on the money.

In general fuel trims are very forgiving at part throttle and idle. Everything gets more critical as cylinder pressure (load) goes up.

Thanks the log in post #5 the fuel trim where really good at wide open. But at light throttle it was show some cells at +9 to +12 and that scared the crap out of me.
