I bought a 04 Silverado with a 6.0 ,procharger and supporting mods . The guy I bought it from made the throttle body cable. I sawp all setup from the 04 to my 06 including the cable throttle body and my 06 works just needs a tune. On the 04 I did the electric throttle body and I had to get a use gas pedal from a 04 because my 06 pedal has a different plug it did turn on but it won't accelerate when I press the gas. My question is do I have to get a 04 computer to make it accelerate or my 06 should work?

You need to tune the computer to support the cable TB but that's if your computer can even control a cable TB.

The 04 had a computer from a 00 Silverado I install the 00 computer on my 06 with the cable throttle body and it works fine the computer was already tune with the procharge. The one I'm having problems is the 04 Silverado it doesn't accelerat when I press the pedal . I install my 06 computer on the 04 is all stock computer 4.8,4l60,gears from my 06 including the electric throttle body. The only thing I couldn't install on the 04 from my 06 was the gas pedal so I got one use from a 04 my 06 electric pedal has a different connection from the 04 . My question is do I have to get a 04 computer to make the 04 truck work or the 06 should of work?

To run the 06 pcm you will need to run the 06 TB, TAC module and pedal. 06 and 04 are not swappable.
