Default STS Basic Tune

Does anyone have a basic STS tune for hptuners that I can mooch off of? I need a compare file to base my new tune off. I'm planning on using the maf still w/ 42 lb injectors. It seems a lot of guys do some speed density with FI so I'm gonna try to read up on it.

I have a lot of questions besides that, but they'll come in due time.

If you have one, could you PM me and then I'll send you my email? Rather not post my email or any derivative of it.

IMO, if you are going to plan on keep adding more boost in the future I would go with a speed density tune.
I think using the MAF is fine if you are sticking in the 5-6 psi range but if you are talking about more I would definately go speed density but again that's just my opinion.

Have you checked the tune repository yet over at hptuners? Maybe somebody has something in there.

Speed density is really easy.. but ive always used EFILive..
Silver-mod-o is using Hp tuners on his Kbracing96 front mount with speed density.

I'd be open to speed density tuning. I understand the concept but besides that, its something I know very little about. Is there a tutorial somewhere that I can read up on?

I did check the hptuners repository...Nada. They were all for corvettes w/ sts.

I wouldnt say so much a tutorial but, there are instructions in the help section of the h.p.t tuners. if your lap top is not on line in your truck copy them to your desk top. you can search s.d..

also you can copy some of the tables from those vette binfiles if they have the same supported tables as yours to experiment but, take in mind the auto trans stuff is different , t.m. & back the timming down about 4-6 deg. accross the board to start. the injector stuff may be simmilar. i have a 07 tbss ststune (w/maf)but i did notice the tables are alot different than my 04 denalli(no boost) so that tune may not help you.
or i have a 04 gto tune(w/maf) a.t., turbo. that might help get you started but that car has 48# injectors.if you email me i can send you something so you have an idea of the tables.

You think Id be able to drive it around if I just:
scale injectors (42lb'ers)
reduce timing
run 93
keep light throttle
monitor the wideband

What table do you actually edit in hptuners to increase the fuel? The LT and ST fuel trims? or is there a "master" table?
