strange problem...

Default strange problem...

ok, so i put the stock tune back in my truck last weekend... on certain days when i start the truck and leave the house I can go WOT and it will turn ~4000 rpm and mph will very slowly climb, this will happen a few times... if i pull over, turn the thing of let it set a second and then restart it, it will stop and run normal, wot and it will haul *****... anyone ever had any experience like this?

I recently did a tune on an 08 GMC and this sounds like one of the rev limiter tables. On the 08 I tuned he was having similar issues especially when he first would start up and take off and I had to up his rev limiter because we raised his shift points and it went away.

Can you post your tune? If so I could show you where the problem is more than likely.

This may not be your problem but it does sound similar to what I was seeing before on an 08.

You can do a scan and log the run when it's doing it and see if anything looks out of place.

problem is i put the stock tune back in it and its doing it even more now... I will post the tune and a scan though (isn't a scan of when it was doing this)

i THINK... this is the scan from when it happened last time... not 100% positive on that though.
