Still lean?..
#1
So my 03 Suburban was throwing a lean condition bank 1 and 2 ... The rig would every so often have a random misfire at idle, that would clear up rather quickly. The misfires come few and far between and ONLY happen at idle..the truck rips otherwise... Usually runs flawlessly.
I cleaned the MAF, I have changed the intake gaskets. Still getting the lean condition on both banks. Any advice?...

did you install the teal green intake gasket??? I have had to replace a few intakes because the sealing flange is warped!!! take some intake cleaner or brake clean and spray around the entire sealing area for the intake tothe heads. you should hear a change in tone of the motor...

To find an intake leak spray starting fluid (carb clean, wd-40) around the intake, if it revs up, there is your leak... ***IT IS HOWEVER, VERY DANGOURS. IF THERE ARE ANY SPARKS FROM SAY A SPARK PLUG WIRE, THE END RESULTS ARE NOT GOOD**** the best way is a smoke machine, but I've sued starting fluid with success...
Any other work done to the Suburban lately?
