Have your tuner look at it now that its been "fixed" again and see if it is going into lockip or not.... Alot less expensive than a scanner worth buying that will show you trans data....

It wouldn't lock up after the first rebuild, but I took it back to rapid motorsports and it seems like it's locking up and putting in all the gears firm.

The paper on the right is the first time I had rebuilt it with these guys then it began to slip. Then I left it again to get repaired and the paper on the left is for today. So the same thing is happening again.

Also another thing bugging me is the shift points on cruising speed. Like I said before 1-2 10mph 2-3 20mph and 3-4 30 mph. When I first had this truck it was 1-2 10mph 2-3 around 25 and 3-4 45. When I got it rebuilt the first time it shifted that was aswell for 3 days then it stopped shifting that way.

Today I drove my dad's truck and that one shifts 1-2 around 10, 2-3 20, 3-4 around 30 but then it feels like another shift at 40 mph. That's how my truck felt but last shift at 45.

It sounds like **** poor tuning.

You should have 3 shifts. 1-2, 2-3, 3-4.

The "5th" shift is the converter locking up. Depending on how it's tuned, it could be a small "thump" or a large "thump".

For me, lockup is a large "thump", my rpm's drop significantly and it takes a fair amount of pedal to get it to unlock.

As for the shifts, that's all tuning. I use the Bluecat software and adjust the aggressiveness of how long the gear holds before a shift and how sensitive it is to downshift.

Where are you located?
