Someone stole one of my key fobs, how do i program a different code from the bcm?

Default Someone stole one of my key fobs, how do i program a different code from the bcm?

So, some punk stole my extra key fob in my truck (2005 Silverado) plus my work badges. Didnt steal anything else, Radio speakers yada yada yada. So how do I reprogram a different code so he doesnt try n come back for the rest and me have a dead body bleeding in my truck?

your going to have to go to the dealership, or find a friend with a tech 2, and invalidate all fobs for the truck then relearn the ones you have

The back of the fob should have a 1 or 2. Replace the one that was stolen and program it to the truck. The dealership should know it you have to reprogram the original fob out but I doubt it.
