^^^^thats just because the smaller bore and storter stroke, so its revs quicker ok, just the 6.0 will still make more power across the power band

I see alot more boosted stock 4.8's shooting for 9's than I see stroked 6's trying for 10's.

Hey now, the 4.8 does have a legitimate advantage. Have you ever found a 6L for $200? Ya see, you couldn't pay someone $200 to take a 4.8L. I guess what I'm saying is that they'll always be cheaper.

its cheap cause theres not very many people that do a v6-v8 swap and when they do they usually always go with at least a 5.3, and then theres the people with the 4.8 and why would they wana swap out their 4.8 for another 4.8? (unless theirs is done in) so there's not resale market for it like the 5.3's and the 6.0's....

He never said it made more power, he said it breathes faster guys.

He does have a point. There's some damn fast boosted stock 4.8s here

That was my whole point man. No one wants a 4.8L so chances are good that it'll always be cheap. Compared to a 6.0 it's a bad engine, but I can think of worse engines out there.
