Default settings for tunes?

what do you guys suggest i have my settings set to? to have a good increase in what mods i have.

i have a volant ram air intake, full dual exhaust from manifold back, shift kit, vette servo, 4.11 gears, rolling 20's

im not sure if i should mess with the torque management or not because right now it spins all through 1st and about 2-3 foot in 2nd. thats with my 20's. im still learning about all this so i would really appreciate any help and insight on how to judge what changes help each mod. THANKS

With a shift kit is is usually wise to remove some torque management and set up for faster shift times being commanded so it will be happier and not pull line pressure like it is now on a stock tune. Also fix your tire size and speedo.

The transmission has set target shift times so if you put on your shift kit, the transmission segment will tell the computer to add or subtract line pressure to hit the time desired. That is bad. You can physically see this if you pull your neg battery terminal and then put it back on and go for a drive. The shifts will be firm at first and then start to get softer. As it learns.

There are many things a tuner can do for you. It is your truck. Just ask for what you think you want and go from there.

thanks for the advice, anyone else that can chime in and maybe give advice from personal experiences? im set up to go down there sunday so im trying to learn as much as possible that way i dont ask them to do something and break down on the way home because of it, also my truck has a full exhaust from manifolds back, how do i know IF the place that changed my motors deleted the rear o2 sensors or not? i didnt notice if they was still there, all i noticed that was its a full exhaust with only one cat on each side and it looks like a aftermarket cat but im not sure cause i was paying more attention to my tranny than anything else
